Wider Curriculum (Clubs)

We offer a wide range of free clubs that run before school, at lunchtime and after school throughout the year. Our clubs are led by teachers and teaching assistants from the school, the Trust and external providers.

At Saint George’s Secondary Phase, we are always keen to provide children with opportunities to further develop and support a variety of skills and interests.

At the end of the school day, please can students ensure to bring all belongings to either the hard courts (in front of the PE block) for netball or to the Astroturf for football. From there, students will be met by the teacher(s) leading the club who will give the next steps.

(*NB – please be advised that on the Astroturf, students are not permitted to wear metal studded boots. Only moulded studs or Astroturf trainers are permitted).

At the end of the session, each student will be free to go home. Teachers will not expect parents on the school site during the session or to collect them at the end.

Throughout the year there are extra rehearsals for specific events. Including:

  • Dance Show
  • Humanities Celebration Evenings
  • Rochester Cathedral
  • Christmas Carol Concert
  • Festival day
