An Unforgettable Night with Our Secondary Phase Musicians

Last Thursday evening, our Secondary Phase students took to the stage for an unforgettable Music Concert, showcasing their incredible talents and hard work. Performing in front of an audience of parents, friends, and staff, they delivered a spectacular evening of live music filled with passion and energy. Earlier in the day, they also treated our Primary Phase students to a special performance, inspiring the younger generation with their dedication to music.

The concert opened with the choir's vibrant rendition of Let Me Entertain You, setting the perfect tone for the night. The energy continued with Jack P leading Johnny B. Goode on guitar and vocals, followed by stunning performances such as Lucy P’s heartfelt Love Song and Darcie P’s lively Party in the USA. The first act was a mix of classic hits and contemporary favourites, including Can't Stop, Your Love, and the choir's emotional rendition of Can’t Fight This Feeling.

Standout moments included Elliot I-F’s soulful version of Free Fallin’ and Maisie A’s dynamic take on Sweet Home Alabama. The first act closed powerfully with Defying Gravity, leaving the audience in awe.

After a short break, Act 2 kicked off with an electrifying performance of Proud Mary by Ruby H, getting the audience clapping along. The momentum continued with Isaac S’s commanding Seventeen Going Under and Georgia W’s powerful Since U Been Gone. Bella R-E rocked the stage with Good 4 U, while Georgia W returned for a beautiful acoustic performance of Blackbird alongside Jack P and Charlie B.

The energy soared as Maddie B captivated the crowd with Love Story, and Mellisa J-B brought the house down with Sweet Child O’ Mine. One of the evening’s highlights was Georgia W’s rendition of Locked Out of Heaven, featuring a stellar performance from the entire band. The grand finale, From Now On, performed by the choir, was the perfect closing to an unforgettable night.

This concert was a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and love for music that our students have cultivated over months of rehearsals. Their outstanding performances filled the venue with joy, excitement, and admiration from the audience.

A huge thank you to Mr Mackey and the team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event happen. Your support and effort ensured a truly special night for our students and audience alike.

We are incredibly proud of every student who participated, and we can’t wait for the next concert! Until then, keep the music alive!
